I've been seeing these Asian (most likely Chinese) women with these "face shields" that double as visors. It's basically a visor with a very long flap, where the flap is made of darkened transparent plastic. You can pull the visor down, and it'll cover your entire face.
It's probably all the rage in Taiwan or some other Asian locale... I overheard a conversation a few weeks ago where someone bought one for someone else and what-not.
So far, the women I've seen wearing these monstrous things are all older women. That should tell us something about its true place in fashion.
