Maybe she was reading Mad Libs
So, as part of the Miss Teen USA 2007 competition, Miss Teen South Carolina was asked about many Americans' inability to location their own country on a world map. Confronted with such a difficult question, she begins rambling about... WTF?

Dead battery
Woke up to find my car's battery dead this morning, as I had suspected it would be (though I didn't know when it would die, just that it would probably die soon).
Since I couldn't find my previous battery's receipt and warranty info, I got a new battery from AAA, instead. Checking my blog, it looks like I last replaced the battery in January, 2005. So it's been about 2 1/2 years.
This new battery has free replacement for three years. I'll have to remember that.

Hey There [...]
You've probably heard this song playing on the radio. Well, not this exact song, because this is a parody of what's playing on the radio.
And this is another.
In case you haven't heard the original, or just want to hear it again for the heck of it, here it is:

I am so proud of you mother****ing ****suckers
I pretty much haven't watched any commercials, since getting a DVR. So I don't know if this has been playing on TV, and if so, for how long. The oldest one I found on YouTube is two months old, though.

I will wait for you
From Futurama, on New Year's Eve, 1999, pizza delivery boy Fry was accidentally cryogenically frozen, and was not revived until 1000 years later. Before he left for his last delivery, he told his dog, Seymour, to wait for him outside the pizza shop. By accident, Fry finds Seymour's fossilized remains, and tries to clone him, as well as transfer the dog's memories to the clone.
The story of someone awaiting the return of a loved one is very common. Jesus told of the parable of the prodigal son. In Takahashi's Mermaid Saga, there's a story of a girl (Nae Kogure) who thought she was going to meet with Yuta, but he never showed up.
And in the music video of Days Go By by Dirty Vegas...

Would you like a bigger butt?
An online friend brought this to my attention:
That's right. It's medically proven... because I said it is.
I have a really flat butt. My boyfriend read that anal sex will help make it bigger, but only if he shoots his sperm deep inside. We used to have anal sex sometimes. He always wore a condom before. Now we have anal sex and he shoots really deep inside me and i keep it there.
I think I like this even if it doesn't make my butt biggerer. He says my butt does look bigger, but I can't tell. Has anyone else heard of thjis? Will his sperms in my butt make it bigger?

Youg Man
Once again you're reminded of a certain summer, the bustling shoreline
Memories of a young man and his proud proclamation
Extend both arms, and the whole world can be embraced
Believing that all dreams will certainly be fulfilled
Everything seems like they're not too far away
In the blink of an eye, a few years have passed
The frivolous words have slowly subsided
Despite the inevitability of harsh experiences
We've never compromised
That's a past none of us can return to
Luckily, the conviction from then has prevailed
The world attempted to change
The young man from so long ago
That's a past none of us can return to
When you're standing on that summer's shoreline
We are still, in our hearts
That opinionated young man
Memories of a young man and his proud proclamation
Extend both arms, and the whole world can be embraced
Believing that all dreams will certainly be fulfilled
Everything seems like they're not too far away
In the blink of an eye, a few years have passed

OMG I have to do this
So I surfed over to YTMND, and fresh in the "recently created" section, I found this site. It's quite simple--Hillary is asking online supporters to suggest a campaign song for her. Just go there, and in the "enter another song title" field, copy and paste in "The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air Theme by Will Smith" and click on the "Submit your vote" button. You can do so multiple times.

If you need it, you don't have it
I've seen this commercial a few times, and when I first saw it, I wondered if it was Bruce Campbell. But I never saw the full version, which I guess must've aired during something like the Super Bowl.
If you have it, you don't need it. If you need it, you don't have it. If you have it, you need more of it. If you have more of it, you don't need less of it.
You need it to get it, and you certainly need it to get more of it, but if you don't already have any of it to begin with, you can't get any of it to get started, which means you really have no idea how to get it in the first place, do you?
You can share it, sure. You can even stockpile it if you'd like, but you can't fake it. Wanting it, needing it, wishing for it... The point is, if you've never had any of it, ever, people just seem to know.
