Once again you're reminded of a certain summer, the bustling shoreline
Memories of a young man and his proud proclamation
Extend both arms, and the whole world can be embraced
Believing that all dreams will certainly be fulfilled
Everything seems like they're not too far away
In the blink of an eye, a few years have passed
The frivolous words have slowly subsided
Despite the inevitability of harsh experiences
We've never compromised
That's a past none of us can return to
Luckily, the conviction from then has prevailed
The world attempted to change
The young man from so long ago
That's a past none of us can return to
When you're standing on that summer's shoreline
We are still, in our hearts
That opinionated young man
