So, in the second season of Chappelle's Show, he did a bit called the "Love Contract."
Recently, a similar, but more drawn out short film was made, called "Consent"...

See comments here -- it's not "taking a page from Chappelle's Show."
"Oh, and to all the pricks who have been writing in their reviews of Consent that I stole it from Dave Chapelle... Consent premiered at Aspen Shorts Fest in April 2004, and was shot before Chappelle ever did that bit...
And I didn't even need to detox in South Africa."
-- Jason Reitman
...that's great, it premiered in April 2004. Chappelle's "Love Contract" aired on Comedy Central in February 2004. So who actually shot his version first? Is Reitman privy to Chappelle's shooting schedule, and when he shot his version? He wouldn't even tell us when he shot his own version.
If not, his claims of an earlier shooting date is just as useless as his animosity.
